An Ode to Man's Best Friend...

So if you want to be my friend, you need to like dogs. If not, we are done.

I've contemplated for too long on getting a puppy. There were possibilities of a Yorkshire but I thought those Yorkies are a little too attitude-y. It's like that dog would be MY master. Then I considered a pug - which is so ugly, it's cute. But after spying on a few little pugs, came to the realization that these fatties are a little lazy. And they have no personality. They just sit and watch you. And walk realllly slowllllly.....

Next up for consideration was a Jack Russell. You cannot deny they have massive personalities. Only problem is after some extensive research I've found it's difficult to find one that's actually pretty. I've been looking and looking but the only ones I've come across for sale looked a little run down, sad and almost er...homeless. (Am I allowed to say that?)

So after all, I've finally decided that one day when I'm big and (a) I truly want this responsibility and (b) I can convince Himself that this is NOT a 'girly dog' which will result in (c) getting Himself to join in on taking the puppy out for walks, I will get a Pomeranian!!!!!! 

I saw one a few weeks ago and fell in love! Oh my hat. Never in my life have I swooned over an animal until that day. It was embarrassing actually.
