Hi mates!

So I'm back.

What a crazy few months this has been. I was just telling someone today that all the recent changes around here seem so surreal.

I started a new job today with a (French!) brand called Comptoir des Cotonniers. How bloody exciting, right? This place seems to be a much better fit for me. I'm back to feeling all inspired and fuzzy hence my reappearance at Random Acts of Chic - my happy place :)

I mean, I almost forgot how easily you can simplify your life. Once you feel like the life is being sucked out of you it's simply a process of elimination, right? (Ha! I'm sounding all reflective today. Gosh.)

Ok, back to Comptoir. So here's a jacket from their most recent Spring collection which I fell in love with. It's mint. But it's actually like a light shade of blue. No, it's mint. Anyway, I love it. This is definitely a brand worth checking out. You're welcome.

You know, I've always loved a fresh start. When something ends, it's opening up that possibility to start something new, fresh and exciting. I could never fathom the concept of staying cemented in a world of unhappiness when it takes just one step to change it. Perhaps it's easier said than done.

So today, here's to taking that ONE step. Why walk? Seize the day. Just take one quantum leap.
